Nathalie Seguin received a Bachelor of Business Administration from the École des Hautes Études Commerciales and became a Chartered Accountant in 1995. She successfully completed the trustee course offered by the Canadian Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals and received a Trustee in Bankruptcy license in 2005. Nathalie is currently enrolled in the Diploma in Investigative and Forensic Accounting program offered by the University of Toronto, with a view to receiving a specialization in forensic accounting.
After working for four years as an auditor for one of Canada’s foremost accounting firms, Nathalie advanced within the insolvency and restructuring department of RSM Richter Inc., where she specialized in commercial insolvency and forensic accounting.
Since 1996, she has led, planned and carried out commercial consulting, proposal, bankruptcy, and receivership projects and has worked on forensic accounting projects in the context of fraud investigations and damage appraisals. During her career she has prepared insolvency reports for clients ranging from forensic accounting lawyers to financial institutions and has been a courtroom witness representing bankruptcy trustees. She has also counseled individuals in financial difficulty since 2005.
