Wage Earner Protection Program
The Wage Earner Protection Program (WEPP), which has been operational since July 7, 2008, was established to protect the unpaid salaries and vacation periods of eligible employees in the event of an employer’s bankruptcy or seizure. To participate in this program, submit a request online at servicecanada.gc.ca. If you do not wish to submit your request online, you can obtain a form from a Service Canada Centre near you.

Voluntary deposit is a measure contained in the Code of Civil Procedure that allows you to repay your debts by depositing with the Court a portion of your earnings determined by law.
